The cinch switch allows two video sources to be connected to one cinch input (e.g. monitor or car radio) and their controlled playback. This allows you to connect a rear-view camera and a front camera as video sources, for example. Of course, it is also possible to connect other video sources such as DVD players, DVB-T tuners, etc. (picture only, no sound).

The switch is equipped with a toggle logic: To do this, you designate a master and a slave input during installation. The master is always played preferentially. Only when the master signal is not available and the slave is transmitting will the slave signal be sent to the monitor.

Please note: Automatic switching occurs via detection of the video signals from Master/Slave, not via the presence or absence of the 12V power supply (as, for example, via the reverse light).

In addition to the RCA connectors for the inputs (video sources) and output (monitor), only a 12V power connection and a ground connection are required.
